Board of Intermediate & Secondary Education Multan was established in 1968 and it was the first educational board of southern Punjab. Head office of BISE Multan is in Gol Bagh Gulgasht Colony, Multan. Now Multan Board has the responsibility to conduct matric and intermediate exams for the students of the districts of Multan, Khanewal and Lodhran. Every year, thousands of regular and private students participate in the SSC and HSSC exams conducted by Multan Board while all the public and private schools and colleges of the districts mentioned above are affiliated with BISE Multan.
These schools and colleges have a definite procedure for the admissions in the matric and intermediate classes according to the directions by the board. SSC and HSSC regular classes start in April and September respectively while the admission process for these classes start two or three months before the start of regular classes. Admissions are open every year after a gap of a year.
Multan Board changes the paper pattern and syllabus of exams almost every year in order to raise the standard of education. BISE Multan issues model papers every year to inform students about the new pattern and examination syllabus as these model papers are prepared according to the recent changes adopted by the board. Apart from that, past papers are also very important as students can know about important questions of the exams by using these past papers.
Date sheets and roll numbers are issued by Multan Board at an appropriate time before the exams in order to prepare the students for the exams. SSC and HSSC exams start in March and May respectively while the date sheets of these exams are issued around two months before the start of the exams. Complete schedule and other important details are mentioned in the date sheets. On the other hand, roll number slips are issued by the board one month before the start of the exams. Candidate’s roll number, examination venue, time and other details are available at the roll number slips.
BISE Multan announces the results of SSC part 1 & 2 and HSSC part 1 & 2 exams after two or three months of the exams. After announcement of results by the board, the students can view the results at the official site of the board while the board also sends the roll number slips to the mentioned addresses of the concerned students.
